Sayam Bharath Yadav
Sayam Bharath Yadav, an artist from a family that milked buffaloes and delivered milk, draws inspiration from his pastoral upbringing.
His art captures the essence of rural life, featuring buffaloes, bulls, thatched houses, and traditional milk cans. Currently, Bharath's work addresses climate change and man's alienation from nature.
He uses anthropomorphic figures of bulls with gas masks and goggles in urban settings to highlight environmental issues. Another series features mounted bull heads reminiscent of hunted tigers during the Raj, reflecting on their fate in a polluted world. Through his art, Bharath powerfully protests environmental degradation.
